As a motivational speaker, I share my story to help individuals and communities navigate addiction, inspire healing, and create honest conversations.

Thanks for being here!  I’m Brett (known as Bert by my friends).  SOBERT was created with the mission to connect, inspire and empower the recovery community in their journey. SOBERT merch was designed to be worn proudly and spark meaningful conversations around sobriety.

MY JOURNEY

At the beginning of 2024, I checked myself into rehab and began the powerful journey of recovery from alcohol addiction that has become one of faith, self-discovery, and transformation.

​

Through my involvement with Alcoholics Anonymous and the support of local church communities, I have learned that recovery is about much more than getting sober.  It’s about rediscovering who you are and finding strength through faith.

​

Today, I am dedicated to sharing my story in the hope that it might inspire and encourage others who are walking a similar path.

 

With honesty, humility, and gratitude, I share about the challenges and triumphs of overcoming addiction and rebuilding my life.

 Brett’s testimony is a powerful message of hope and rebirth, one that everyone needs to hear. 
I am so thankful my two teenage sons were able to acquire new insight and understanding from Brett’s journey - what an impactful moment provided to them.  It has opened up so many wonderful conversations in our home.
